Vacation in April thru May

On April 11 I go to Idaho to visit my Aunts then I go to Washington April 16 to visit my other family for birthdays and Mother's Day.

I am still here on earth

I have been busy with nursery and the kids at home and busy with my room.

Still here

I am still around on the Earth. Just been busy with Nursery and the kids at home and being on the computer and the phone with family and friends.

Hallloween

This Halloween I was a hippie and went trick or treating with the kids. Then went to a friends house for a Halloween party and we had fun at the party with friends and family.

Moved

Now I live with Julie Peterson and her family we were living in Kentucky now we live in Maryland for her husband job. We love being in new places where ever his work takes us.

New Vista Community Group

I am in a group called New Vista Community.

We go to activities each month.

This month I made a bunny from build a bear. It was my first time making an animal but I had fun doing it. I named the bunny Michelle.

I got a birth certificate for the bunny.

The steps to build an animal are:
1.Choose an animal.
2.Name it & choose if it will be a female or male.
3.Stuff it and put a heart in it.
4.Dress it with an outfit.

The next event with the group is this Friday. It will be fun to be with the group again. We are going to see Disney on Ice.

Christmas Time in my room

After dinner last night I got a present from Dad & Sandii. There was a tree and decorations. I decorated the tree today after Church.

I am starting to decorate the tree.

My window has Christmas window clings.

My bedroom door has the wreath that Missy made for Dad & Sandii.

My bathroom door has the santa that Missy made for Dad & Sandii.

Star of the week

I worked very hard and received this certificate the second week I was at Opportunity Village.

Job Training

I am in job training now at Opportunity Village. So far I have been putting boxes together and putting bath salts in the boxes for Bellagio Casino. I am also working with water bottles. I put labels on them for another company. I get paid to do this as I learn to get a job.

I started at Opportunity Village on Monday, August, 23, 2010 and I am there for six hours from eight am - two pm. Five days a week. Sometimes I take a bus. Sometimes Dad takes me or picks me up.

I put my lunch bag in my locker when I get there.

This is one of the bath salt boxes.

I wrap the label around the water bottle and glue it.

This is my first paycheck. I get paid every two weeks.

I am excited to be in job training so I can learn to work at an outside job.

I am meeting nice people to chat with. I am getting to know my co-workers and my supervisor.

I am having fun at my job training.

Sock Monkey

I started this sock monkey last year and I finished it today with Sandii's help.
The monkey's name is Chipper and his pal is Oreo.
It took forever to finish it.
I bought this sock monkey kit at JoAnn's. I thought it would be fun to have one of my own.
It came with two socks, patterns, felt, thread, instructions, and needle.
Sandii did all the sewing machine work.
I did the stuffing and I learned how to do the hand sewing.
It was fun learning how to do the hand sewing with the needle.
I also learned how to cut out fabric with a pattern.
Instead of sewing the bear together I glued it with stuffing inside to look like Oreo cookie stuffing then I glued it to the monkey. That is why his name is Oreo.
It was fun putting the monkey together and Sandii and I are happy for it to be done for good.
I will never buy a kit ever again until I read the instructions.

New clothes

I got coupons for Christmas last year from dad & Sandii.

The coupons are gifts through out the year.

I used the coupon for the new skirt and jacket that Sandii made for me.

I wore the skirt and jacket last Sunday to church.

Baby blanket for a ward sister

I was tying ribbon to the blanket. It took a lot of time.



Sandii helped me with the blanket. She finished the edges and added the lace on the other side.

We forgot to take a picture of finished blanket before we wrapped it.



The blanket is wrapped for the sister in the ward who just had a baby.

High Priest Activity that dad hosted

This is my "punishment" for not obeying dad and Sandii.

There is a story to this, long time ago chain gang prisoners pounded big rocks to smaller rocks to make gravel for the tracks for trains.


I was breaking graham crackers to make sand for the High Priest Activity.

Sandii decorated the tables for the party

with the sand I made for the High Priest activity dad hosted.

Easter Baskets

I started last week on this project for my the sisters I visit teach.
They are Easter Baskets.
They are made out of balloons and crochet thread.

Step One: Wrap the thread around the balloon so the balloon is mostly covered.

Step Two: Coating in sugar syrup and letting dry overnight or longer if needed.

Step Three: Pop the balloon.

Step Four: Cutting the top of the baskets.

Step Five: Decorating the baskets.

I used trim, ribbon,buttons, fuzzies poms poms.

Step Six: Put Easter grass in the baskets.

Step Seven: Put candy in the eggs and put them in the baskets.

Now they are ready to give away.

They were fun to make for my sisters.

Jordan Bluth

I went with Dad and Sandii to a meeting last Wednesday. I stayed out of the way at the meeting. The entertainer was Jordan Bluth, he was very good. I have his cd. He autographed it for me. I had fun being with Dad and Sandii at the meeting last week.

I made candy pots

I started this project on Thursday February 11, 2010 and Friday the 12th, and ended on Saturday, the 13th. I have a brunch on Tuesday, the 16th, for the sisters I visit teach with my companion. I love giving things to the sisters on my list and my companion every time we visit them.

The first coat of paint on the flower pots is red and I used a paintbrush.

The second coat of paint is pink and I used a sponge.

The third coat of paint is white and I used the sponge again.

The last part was for the bag, candy, ribbon.

Gingerbread House

I started building a Gingerbread House a while back this month.

I iced the house with bought frosting and put the house in the freezer to harden or cool for an hour til the next morning.

Then yesterday I started decorating the house with icing and candy.I decorated the house with frosting and colorful candies and candy canes.



One side is done with candy.




The other side is done with candy.



The front of the house has two candy canes.



The Gingerbread House is done.
